Young&College: The future is in your hands

How we turned the interview into a structured negotiation process.

Last April 11th, together with Vittoria Poli , we had the pleasure of conducting a lesson at Sapienza University of Rome , thanks to the invitation of Young&Co ., which involved the International School of Negotiation to bring their own methodological approach, in the course entitled:

‘Negotiation techniques - success in the job interview’", aimed at master's students in Economics.

We explored together the importance of applying a negotiation method to the job interview, from strategic preparation to relationship management, up to debriefing.

During the meeting we:

- Analyzed the fundamentals of negotiation applicable to the professional context;

- Presented and discussed the role of the social partners;

- He will be there with a smile on his face, followed by a strategic debriefing.

It was stimulating to see active participation, timely questions and great willingness to get involved on the part of the students. A heartfelt thanks to 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 & 𝗖𝗼. and to all the participants for the quality of the exchange.

The job interview is not just an exam: it is a strategic negotiation, and as such, deserves method, listening and awareness.
