The Rovigo team from the Law degree course of the University of Ferrara triumphs in the Italian Mediation Competition (CIM) .
In a climate of growing attention in favor of negotiation and mediation skills and alternative tools for dispute resolution , the Unife team achieved an excellent result for the University, which won this victory for the first time.
The 2024 edition, organized at the Bicocca University of Milan, was attended by sixteen Italian universities and more than one hundred students , who challenged each other in the resolution of three cases , with a view to a peaceful confrontation aimed at settling interests. of the parties.
The winning team was made up of students Nadia Bala , Beatrice Benato , Asia Biancheri , Vittoria Franzoso and Serena Roncon . Their preparation was handled by the coach-trainers Luigi Imbesi and Filippo Martini , with the support of Alessandro Maran , participant of the last edition, who made their experience in the field of mediation and negotiation available in a practical and theoretical laboratory project held at Palazzo Angeli, Rovigo headquarters of the Department of Law.
The victorious outcome of the project, which developed during the five months preceding the competition, confirmed the importance of team synergy and the strategic approach to conflict resolution .

The first prize in the general ranking achieved in 2024 is deserved after the numerous placings and category prizes achieved in past editions (3rd place in the 2023 edition, 5th place in the 2022 edition, the individual prize as best mediator in 2021 , as well as numerous other category awards).
